Summary: Yours Truly, Goldilocks is a collection of letters from several fairytale characters preparing for a house warming party at the Three Little Pigs' brick house. The exchanges of letters talk about who is coming to the party, and even includes a scheme by the wolves to plan an ambush. The party goes on, and the wolves are caught by Mother Bear, so they are unable to harm any of the others.

Perfect student: This book is perfect for students enjoy animals, nature and fairytales. It would also be great for students learning about friendly letter format as well!
Common Core State Standard: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.5.2Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text, including how characters in a story or drama respond to challenges or how the speaker in a poem reflects upon a topic; summarize the text. This text works well with this standard because fractured fairytales are familiar stories with small changes, so students will be able to pinpoint specific differences to help them determine the new theme and the story has a definitive beginning, middle, and end.
